February 9, 2002: | Seoul’s Board of Education authorizes the creation of the Lycée International Xavier, which belongs to the Madeleine Daniélou Centers’ network. (Madeleine Daniélou (1880-1956) founded the first private school for secondary education based on her teachings 100 years ago. Several more were then created, both in France and abroad.) |

March 2, 2002: | Inauguration of the Lycée International Xavier (LIX) in Haehwa-dong, with Hélène Lebrun as its principal. |
May 2005: | The school moves to Gugi-dong, its current location. |
June 2007: | Hélène Lebrun retires. |
Sept. 2007: | Odile Thibault becomes the school’s principal. |
July 2012: | The school becomes affiliated with the MLF. |
June 2013: | The primary school becomes state-certified (AEFE). |
Sept. 2014: | Jérôme Pinot becomes the school’s principal. |
Sept. 2017: | Opening of the preschool |
June 2018: | The 6th grade (6e) becomes state-certified (AEFE). |
